Hi, I am Michelle Colon-Johnson; I am book publicist and speaker known as The Dream Connector to the book publicist world. I am also the author of the upcoming book– Lessons From Publicity.

My Dream is to create a book that will add value to everyone seeking publicity and I am asking for your help! I am inviting you to share your best publicity tips, strategies, and lessons/stories you have learned through publicity.

I am looking for real stories from real people, and strategies and tips that people can apply in their own quest for publicity. I am also open to funny stories and publicity gone bad.

My goal is to help others get the word out about their brands, products, and services and how to do so through publicity. I look forward to reading YOUR story!

Participants acknowledge and represent the submissions (stories, quotes, tips, lessons, etc.) are their original, are not copyrighted, have not been copied from someone else and participant has full rights to publish the story in its entirety, or portions thereof, and agrees to grant permission to use submission to Lessons From, LLC (Sponsor). Copyrighted and/or third-party submissions will be accepted as long as the submitter is granted, in writing, permission to do so.

The original Lessons from Publicity eBook and/or book will be created after a sufficient amount of qualified stories have been submitted. Participants agree that Lessons From, LLC (LF) may edit the submissions to fit the book.

Not all stories submitted will be selected to be in the final book, but all who submit a story will receive a digital copy of the book via email. Submissions in the book will receive credit in the form of a short bio/contact info with the submission (limited to 200 characters). Submissions for other media will be acknowledged with the author’s name only. LF reserves the right to edit bio for length, if necessary.

Participant agrees that LF may use, reproduce, display, distribute and take portions of the submission, royalty-free, for any purpose, commercial or otherwise, and in any medium (such as social media, e-mails, blogs, etc.) and may grant the same rights to third parties without compensation to the participant.

LF is not responsible for: (1) incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the book production; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process; or (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the processing of stories.
